Powder coating
The process involves several steps of important preparations that interfere with both the durability of the adhesion and the finish of the paint.
We determine the necessary treatments according to the parts to be painted. If a metal part is not well degreased there are high risks of finding imperfections in the finish. Each room is cleaned with a degreaser and rinsed with hot water. For steel parts facing outwards it is strongly suggested to apply a zinc primer layer thus prolonging the durability of the product.
Once the preparation steps are completed, the powder paint is applied using a spray gun charged with electrostatic and adheres to the part through the magnetic field thus created. This process allows the powder paint to be applied uniformly and to treat complex parts. The paint is then fixed by firing in a high temperature oven between 380°F and 440°F. The result is a smooth, commercial-grade finish.
